These 100% natural wool blankets are dyed using natural plant-based dyes. The wool comes from local family-farmed sheep, without the use of chemical pesticides. The white, gray, and black colors are the three natural sheep’s wool tones, while other accent colors are made from elderberry fruits, tree barks, plant leaves, cochineal insects, and indigo. The wool is sheared by hand, washed, hand-carded, hand-spun, and then boiled in open air vats with natural dyes and air-dried before being hand-woven on the artisanal foot-loom by a family workshop in Momostenango. After weaving the blankets are boiled again, air dried, and then brushed by hand to create their soft felted texture. All wool blankets are color-fast. Dry clean only. Three sizes: Throw, Twin and Queen.

Revive is an artisanal collection of handwoven textiles products. Our fabrics are handcrafted using the Mayan backstrap loom by cooperatives of Guatemalan indigenous artisans. Featuring ecological plant dyes, natural cotton, recycled denim threads, and natural sheep wool. Yabal is a Fair Trade organization dedicated to the empowerment of rural women artisans. All profits fund social programs for our weavers.
